Atelier by Renée is a London-based multidisciplinary studio led by Renée, an artist, designer, and maker with a deep passion for creative expression through material and form. The studio explores the rich interplay between art and design, crafting original works that blend sculptural presence with functional elegance - ranging from sculptural lamps and furniture to decorative objects and free standing sculptures. Each piece is a unique expression of form and purpose, designed to elevate both residential and commercial spaces.
Renée’s practice is rooted in a honed understanding of materials; bronze, resin, jesmonite, steel, and stucco marmo - a 16th century alchemical craft used to create made-stone and marble-like surfaces. The studio employs both traditional craftsmanship and contemporary methods. Stucco, in particular, is a labour-intensive medium that demands years of dedication to master, reflecting the studio’s commitment to skill and process. Each piece produced by Atelier by Renée is a thoughtful composition of materiality and concept.
Atelier by Renée also welcomes bespoke commissions and collaborates closely with interior designers, architects, and private clients to create works tailored to specific visions and spaces.
The studio’s works have been acquired by collectors in the USA, France, Dubai, Australia, Nigeria, Hong Kong, and the UK.
